What kind of wax do you use?
Every Mwinda candle is made with 100% natural soy wax — a renewable, biodegradable resource that burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, with no petroleum by-products.
How long do your candles burn?
Our 4 oz candles burn for around 25 hours and our 9 oz candles for 50–60 hours, depending on how you burn and care for them.
Are your candles non-toxic and safe for pets?
Yes. We use phthalate-free, clean-burning fragrance oils and natural cotton wicks, making our candles safe for homes with children and pets.
How do I get the best burn?
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges (about 2 hours) to prevent tunneling. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each light, and keep away from drafts.
Do you offer shipping and returns?
We offer free U.S. shipping on orders over $45. If something arrives damaged or you're not happy, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely. Every Mwinda candle is vegan and never tested on animals.
